If I use contact paper on bathroom counter, do I seal with a poly coat
If I use contact paper to cover my bathroom counter and backsplash, would it be best to put a poly coat over it? I wouldn't think midge podege would work.
You could paint it. Go for a finish that provides a high gloss finish. You will want to seal it. Also so a water based poly (oil based tends to yellow and you don't want the white counter to yellow) that is also a gloss finish.
I realize this is for a kitchen counter but the tutorial is very good and would work in the bathroom also. Look at the before and after pics so see if this is what you want.

What is it made from now?
To remove and replace it, you’ll need to turn off the plumbing, undo it, unscrew the top from the base cabinet, pull out the sink and re-install everything.
You'll need caulk, plumbers Teflon tape & help setting the new counter physically on top the base cabinet.
