I do not want to hurt the wood finish. It is very slick.
Once a month I use one cup of lemon scented ammonia to one gallon hot water on my vinyl floor. Remove built up dirt, grime, and old wax. Then apply Mop and Glo. One a week I use a few squirts of Dawn dish liquid to one gallon hot water.
Hi RJW, I also use scented ammonia and water to clean mine.
Try borax. You might try baking soda, hydrogen peroxide to make a paste. If that doesn’t work add dawn dish soap to the paste.
Magic Erasers are really good also
