What can I do with a broken magnolia tree branch?
My son broke off a peace of a branch and wonder if I need to do any mending to the branch? Steps to do so! I looked online and there's just so much too read abt. Need more of a simple,but effective instructions! Or would it be much easier or cheaper to call a professional?

You probably need to make a clean cut and put tree that(ask at a nursery) so the cut limb does not get 'sunburn' ... It is like an open wound on the poor tree and also make sure the balance of remaining branches is still supportive as not to receive any further broken limbs by weight imblance. Magnolia wood is beautiful carved
... If you know someone whom has a wood Turner stole a bowl could be made or could cut into small pieces to make coffee table keepsake box...the wood grain is gorgeous.
Just call a tree surgeon to assess the situation and remedy. Give the branch to a local craftsman, the wood can be seasoned and turned into something pretty or useful.
