How can we get our garden to grow?

Had a vegetable garden for years, now nothing will grow. After we had the soil tested, we did what the Agriculture Extension Office advised. Still zilch.

I’m not the greatest at gardening but my mom ran into this exact problem. She had a garden in the same spot for years then suddenly nothing would grow. She ended up turning the soil (by hand and by using a tiller) then mixing in a combination of manure and new soil with the existing soil. The garden started to grow again... I hope this helps!
You answered your own question. You have been growing in the same spot for years. The soil is completely depleted of any nutritional value. During the dormant season you need to amend and grow a cover crop like rye or clover. When getting the beds ready for planting in the spring you need to mix in lots of fresh compost and new soil.

Also, sometimes the seeds can be the culprit... I planted cucumbers and nothing came up but then I bought a new seed packet and planted them again and they're thriving! Maybe try a fresh set of seeds from this year (not old packets, as I'm always tempted to do haha).
