Is there a garbage disposal involved? That can lead to smells if you don't flush it properly. Lemon and lime peals can do a good job of cleaning disposals. Vinegar is always a good home remedy. All sinks need a P-trap to hold water and seal off sewer gases. P-traps are easy to remove and the hair and other stuff can be dumped out into a bucket.

A Drain-o or Liquid Plumber product may be needed if other solutions don't work. Also, removing and cleaning the P-trap usually solves the problem with odors. Check out You Tube if you need instructions.

Thanks but I don't like using drain-o. Not good for the pipes. I'm going to try baking soda and vinegar. Just put in a new sink ..P-trap is ok.
