First use ice to make the wax very cold so that you can scrape off any wax that is left. Then use the iron over paper towels or a soft white cloth to get up the rest. Heat up the iron and place the tea towel over the wax spill, gently press the iron on for a second then lift and check to see how much wax is on the towel. shift to a clean spot and repeat, then again until you don't get anymore wax on the tea towel. you can wash the tea towel in the laundry once you have finished.
