How to create a new flower bed in my front yard?

I have a large front yard with two medium trees. I would like to cut out the grass and include the trees in the bed. It gets full sun and would be around 25 feet long. Where can I get some ideas to start this project? Thanks, April

Be careful when you make beds around tree trunks. Many times this will harm your trees.
I would start by visiting a local nursery to find out the best options for your zone and soil type. Then you can decide if you want green or color, perrenials or annuals, and so forth.
Encore azaleas might be good because they fill out and you wouldn't have to plant a lot of them. They are hardy and survive in full sun or partial shade.
