Hi Judy, you could use it on the bottom of the wall like wainscoting.
Just don't use where you may hang clothes to dry, may get rust on them.

Putting it on the wall would be fun!!
Use a studfinder to locate the studs. Or attach the tin to wood strips the length of the wall that you have attached to the wall. Do a single wall behind the washer and dryer or just go around the room the height of the tin panels. Trip the top with reclaimed wood.
