How do I fix tile-like flooring?
We had our carpet taken up in dining, living room and down hall. Had Lowe's subcontractors put down flooring that looks like hardwood floors. They glued it down and used a roller to go over it. Looked great for about two years. Now there are bubbles in it in living room close to dining room and down hall. Very noticeable. I talked to one of the guys who put it down but he won't come by to fix it. I've heard of some ways to fix but not sure how to do it myself. Any help would be appreciated.

Check your warranty and see if you are still covered. Sounds like a vinyl product. How did you choose this product to begin with?
You have to pull the flooring up and glue it down again. they must have forgot to put subflooring. Its going to happen again if there is not sub flooring put down. I had this happened to me and we had to take all the wood out and put subflooring first.
There might be moisture from humidity or cleaning that is causing the bubbles. If you still have any container wrappings with info or even a receipt with the product name, contact the manufacturer with what is happening.
When we were looking at flooring, the person who advised us on what appropriate product to buy warned us about what strongly resembled hardwood, but would not perform, predicting potential lawsuits.
Best to you.
Go back to Lowe's customer service. Odds are, you are still under warranty. They are very helpful. If you try a DIY fix you may void that warranty.
