Lay pallet flat after covering back & bottom with landscape fabric. Lightly sand pallet & check that all boards are intact & no nails sticking out.
Fill with gardening soil & plant the plants you want. **You will need a lot of soil** It will be VERY heavy.
I choose edibles, mostly herbs.
Leave flat at minimum 4 weeks, though best if 6-7 weeks.
That gives the plants time to get rooted in the soil so when you stand it up they didn't all just fall out!!
You need 2 people to be able to stand this up.
Make this as close to the area you want the finished project to sit as it is very heavy & difficult to move!!
