How do I get rid of an ant problem?

Every summer, they come marching in like an army. They come to the kitchen counter or to the bathroom floor. There is no rhyme or reason why or where they come from. But if someone could please tell me how to head them off and get rid of them, I would be so grateful.

I feel your pain. Why they flood into the bathroom is beyond me. I was like the giant ant killer last year sitting on my throne just daring them to crawl out. I can't use spray because of a pet walking on the area, I researched and found Terro Liquid Ant Baits. What the heck, right? Well it didn't take long before they were gone and they are still gone a year later,

Terro is great but expensive. Google DIY ant killer. I make mine with Borax, sugar and water. apply just like the Terro; large drop on small piece of cardboard.

  • Hi Betty -

Those little buggers are relentless, aren't they?!? This is the most effective method and all-natural spray DIY that we use with ants. It's best indoors, but will also work outside with more frequent applications. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly
