What can I use in place of blinds to cover windows?

My cat keeps braking my blinds what else can I put up instead of blinds? Thank you..

You can try bamboo blinds, you can find inexpensive ones at Christmas tree shops or walmart. I leave mine up and just close the curtains at night.
cats love to look out or lay in the window curtains w/sheers that can be opened or closed, which cat can easily walk/get behind and easily washed to remove hair is best solution. No microfiber --hair magnets! don't fight the cat about being in window you'll just loose the battle

could you try fabric shades?
My cats would break them if I left them down, since it blocked their sun and view. I started leaving them part way down and they never touched them again.
Perhaps you could find the wooden kind, they are much more durable.
