Hi Terri. The bleach will do exactly that bleach the carpet. The only thing I can think of is to get a rug to put over the area.
You can try to paint or dye it back to its original color. Why did you use bleach?

You may have to replace the carpet where the bleach decolorized it, unless you can match the color by dying it.
