How can I make a concrete planter?

how do I make a very large planter for outside? our weather highs are 100 degrees to a minus 10 degrees. We are in zone 6 on the gardening map. I want to create a large bowl, planter approximately 42 inch diameter and at least 4-5 feet tall. Any suggestions?

That sounds like a challenge and lots of concrete but don’t let that stop you. Be sure to read up on what’s best for weather extremes. Building or assembling your form will likely be the most work.
