How do you clean glue from top of a wood dresser?
Years ago, I put down that sticky shelf "paper" which is really a liner that grips with a sticky substance. I put it on a dresser. I have pulled it off and there is a glue like residue left behind. What would take it off without damaging the wood?

try mayonnaise let it sit before removing residue
I would use Lemon Essential Oil to take off the sticky residue.
