I love your bedroom, bet if I were you here is what I would do.

A- I would change the lamps and buy a bit taller. from the designing prospective your lamps should always match the height of your headboard..

B- I would remove the clutter from the nightstands and instead place some nice flowers etc.. in small pots.

C- Behind the lamps, I would buy either two nice and tall mirror or art work.. although mirror would look good. In the center you can place some nice wording such as "Always kiss me good night.

It's a beautiful bedroom but lacks personality. Just pull some color out of your bedspread and place pillows and flowers of that color. I would also use a throw at the end of the foot-board.

You can use ether tortoise or orange color as I can see those in your blanket.. it would not only add charm but also look really fresh and not so dull monochromatic..

    Otherwise you have good taste..

Hope it helps! Any question please ask and I will be happy to help.. let me know how it goes!

No it won't, if you use a bigger shades.. these lamps are not going or well proportions with your large bed..I love the whole color schema though but will not use the same monochromatic lamp shades... add some color here and there...

Maybe find some small frames or piece of decor to put on either end of the metal piece?

The only thing I would do is declutter bedside tables, the rest is fine and very calming, which is how a bedroom should be. Phrases on the wall or on mirrors would spoil it.

Canopy on the wall. Use your favorite fabric (I used sheer because it's light weight).Just use tie back or metal to frame the swag. Mine worked out fine. Change out the fabric to match your decor.
