Let bleach sit for 1 hour and then run through normal wash cycle. Run a rinse cycle and repeat with vinegar.

Vinegar is what I have always used. Bleach is horribly toxic and prefer not to use chemicals. See if these help.

Afgfresh is a great product ... Toss a tablet into machine and run a cycle. I use every couple of months.
