How to garden with newspaper?

i recently saw a garden project where they used wet newspaper instead of that gardening roll .. wanted to see again .. I live all these projects .. doing the dollar store marbles on a table with my grand dtrs

No need to get it wet, just layer it in your garden and cover it with dirt or mulch.
