Oh dear Wendy, perhaps you can search for "vinca" instead. Looking on google I found a place called Costa Farms in Florida that has them - http://www.costafarms.com/get-growing/news/a-shopper-s-guide-to-vinca Is that close to where you are?

Maybe they don't grow well there! Try buying from the internet - maybe eBay!
I only see them available in early spring here in Texas.
Once you have them be aware they seed and you are never without them again.
