Hello there,
For myself, I would use hot glue or other ? to secure corks onto a large board or maybe tile in a design you are happy with rather than sticking directly to the wall it self. You can experiment with your design - maybe stick some on end to read Bar Open when coloured with sharpies or other such as bottle tops............Have fun...
