I really want to have plants in my apartment, but I only have one window. I tried growing some but they keep dying.

Variegated pothos are very low maintenance! Mine do well in limited light.

    Hi Cramery,

The care of a plant depends on the plant itself. It might need more or maybe less sun from a window. If the sun streams in a window all day, it can make the plant too hot. Some plants need daily watering, some only need weekly or sometimes even less. Some need one kind of fertilizer, some need a different one. You have to choose your plant based on the conditions in which it will live. So before you buy, look at the needs of the plant. I hope this helps. Wishing you the best.

Try either Spider plants or an Aloe Vera plant.

I would say a pathos would be best for you...they thrive with low light or medium light and soon look full and green. Depending on the warmth of your house, water once a week. I like Boston Ferns also but they have a tendency to drop little leaves and do need more water...depending on pot size...twice a week.
