Do you shake polyurethane?

    Hi Deb! It's really not necessary. One other hint. Don't go back and forth when applying with your brush (brush is better than roller). Doing that will create bubbles in your finish. Good luck!

    Hi Deb. I actually don't shake it. You don't want to get bubbles in it at all or they will translate into your finish. I make sure the lid is on securely, lay it on a table or counter and then roll it around. The rolling it mixes it up and then once I open it, I use a stir stick to gentle stir it (like you are folding in something when baking). Hope that helps!

    No, the bubbles are a pain to make go away. Stir slowly & deeply.

  • No! Do not shake poly! It will create tiny bubbles that will dry in the finish. Instead, you want to gently stir with a stir stick.
