You could attach it on a 2 by 4 then cement it in the bottom of the pot don’t forget to leave holes for drainage.
cement the hanger in the pot/container; make sure it's plumb(level vertically-so it won't tip over easily) using a couple of boards across top of planter/pot like a grid to hold it in place while the cement is setting up. mixing quickcrete cement https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtEb_3y4hYM
