Try a box of baking soda

You need to take everything out, unplug scrub down with vinegar. Pour baking soda on bottom, leave open for a few days. Wash out soda, turn back on close up. See if works. If not do again.

My vote is to take everything out, clean it and then replace the items. Then keep a box of baking soda in there and change once a month. Use the spent soda in your drains and toilets to keep them fresh too.

baking soda ; clean it out (blood,meat juice seeped into bottom)also check fan,blower ,motor area make sure nothing(mouse) has crawled in that area and died

  Thanks much for the help. Did the vinegar a d baking soda. Most of the smell is gone so I have to do it maybe another time or two . Thanks
