Hi Betsy, if you are looking for a textured look, how about the old sponging technique or raging, it gives texture but is easy to change up.

You can mix unsanded grout into the paint for a textured look. The amount is up to you.
There are many products sold at local hardware stores that can be added to paint to create a textured appearance.
