How can I make over the scroll metal legs of a coffee table?

I have dark Ashley old world coffee table with scroll metal legs that I want to redo. I am tired of old world look. Please help. thanksSandy

I would think you would be able to remove the top and spray paint the legs in a lighter metallic color such as charcoal metallic, soft iron, etc. RustOleum has tons of really great metallic or metal-look spray paints available. I hope this helps!
You can use spray paint on metal. Do you want to do top too? What style? Shabby chic? Farmhouse? Slick and sophisticated? Top can be left alone or, painted.
Remove or tape up non metal areas. Scuff with fine steel wool. Clean with denatured alcohol. Spray with RustOleum paint, check out the hammered line.
