IF you dug a deep trench, 3' o r so, and filled the bottom half with a mixture of earth and peat moss, then formed cones of that material, and spread the octopus like roots of a dry roots asparagus plant, like i did in 1987, over the cone and covered them ONE inch with dirt, down in the hole.
