My moms chair arm rest and seat is really dirty wondering what to use? I took a dryer sheet got it wet and scrubbed one of the arm rest and it diffently looks alot better! Plus what for her to get for arm rest and seating covers that can be taken off to wash it!

Here's the one arm rest I did clean with a downy dryer sheet and got it wet and scrubbed! Sure I need to scrub some more, but couldn't tell with it wet how gd I was doing! This after it dry!

Try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser or Oxy Clean or Awesome Orange on a wet rag and scrub...let dry. Or try Spot Shot carpet cleaner as directed.

I use Spot Shot for just about everything that's made out of cloth. It's marvelous!

The 2 best products I have used are Spot Shot, and Tuff Stuff available at auto supply stores.

Maybe Walmart in the automotive aisle? Spray on, rub in gently with soft plastic round brush. Let sit a minute, then wipe gently with white (so color won't transfer) washcloths. You should see the dirt come off onto the washcloth. Maybe brush gently again. (The problem I have had with Spot Shot is it often stops spraying when the can is still half full.)

I've used woolight foaming carpet cleaner, to clean dirty furniture. No matter what you use, tho. Be sure to check somewhere inconspicuous ,to make sure it won't leave a mark on the fabric, first. And you could make some simple arm coverings out if towels. Lots of pretty colors, and patterns to choose from, and easy to take off and wash as needed

Yes I was wanting to find some thing that can also be taken off and wash then put back on! So that come to figuring how too create the right structure and figured maybe adding an electric band to the arm rest covers? To help keep it still? Or adding some kinda rubber stick on's to place on the under part of the arm rest covers? Or velcro stick on's?

I was going to suggest hand towels for arm covers for your mom's chair. Just wash when dirty.
