How can I upcycle old aluminum tumblers?

My husband put my aluminum cups through the dishwasher and they came out with most of the shine gone n just a hint of color left... I know I could make something out of them, I just don’t know what!!! Any ideas?

I wonder if they might make a nice wind chime? Hang them from different heights on an embroidery hoop...
Maybe you could paint them with chalk paint and use them to hold office supplies. Or you could plant succulents in them.
How about planting succulents in them. They don't need much care or water and is quite the "in" thing right now.
I would use them in the craft room for pencil or marker holders. They are still great to keep!
Throw them away. Aluminum causes Alzheimer's. Please do some research on this.
