How can I decorate an apartment with a traditional Indian design?

HiI bought a new flat in Kochi last month. It has basic furniture in it. I will move in and start doing the interiors next week. I want a traditional Indian touch to my house. I know that is going to be expensive. So I am looking for good DIY tips on the same since I don't have too much to spend on it.Please share the tips with me here.Thank You
