Usually mixing some bagged compost/garden soil with the mulched remains will help adjust the remaining soil ph to grow turf or other plant material.

In my post today on my DIY & decorating blog Simple Decorating Tips, I talked a little about a stump we had to deal with. We cut it down, then ground it down with a stump grinder, then we cleared out all the sawdust wood chips created by the grinder. Finally we filled it over with top soil and seeded it in. ( here is the post I wrote mentioning this)
Can you use it as a planter? I had an old stump that I drilled out the center of and planted a flower. https://www.homeroad.net/2019/06/how-to-make-planter-from-old-stump.html
Just rake it up and set out for yard waste or use it as fill dirt in holes with top soil on top. You can use as mulch if not near your home. If not cedar could attract termites.
Hi Carolyn, you can add black dirt to level it and seed it so it fills in with the rest of your lawn.
