How can I make an existing shed smaller?

I have a 8 by 6 metal shed I find it too big in my yard any tips on how to use existing materails and make it 8 by 3 so in fact it will remain just as wide just need to shorten sides with door still on same side same place can i just cut out 3 ft of sides and room any one ever try this thanx carolyn

    Cutting the sides down wouldn’t be a big deal but you would run into problems with the roof. You don’t say if it’s a metal or wooden shed but if the roof is held up with joists you’d have to make new ones. The only way the roof might work is if it’s flat or angled.

    Cut through the 6' sides and roof. Then remove or cut the 8' back and screw it into the shed as a back. A little modification and it should work.
