How to seal spots on my table that oil varnish won't cover?

    I think.what you are talking about is the finish has fish eyes. Looks like a hollow space like a burst bubble. That usually occurs when a new finish is put over a not perfectly prepared surface. Residue, wax or oil was left behind which caused the new finish to separate. We usually restrip and start over.
