How to repair concrete patio cracks?
My concrete patio has developed cracks. It's approx. 20 years old. I want to know how to repair it myself and then what can I treat the patio with to protect it from future damage. Is here a sealant for concrete like the Thompson treatment for wood decks to fix the cracked concrete patio? Thank you

Hi Cathy, here's a lovely and easy tutorial that will help you fix the cracks in your patio - https://www.thespruce.com/how-to-fix-cracks-in-a-concrete-patio-4582204
Hello,
Sounds as if the underside of the cracked slab needs to be added to and levelled as it is probably the reason it cracked in the first place. Failing that, you could use Postcrete in the crack and let the damp from the ground seep into it to solidify it or use a Tar type mastic, but these things are only a short term fix.
Thanks. This is very helpful.

Hi Cathy, you can fill wide cracks with concrete crack filler in a caulk tube. Then you can resurface the slab.
