I wash mine off and put them in a dish with a lid or even a pump dispenser (when my hand soap is finished) whatever size works for you . I then add enough water to cover the soap pieces. The ones in the dish will become soft and moldable into a bar. The ones I break into pieces and put into a bottle will become soft and need a shake every so often and you can then use it for hand soap.

Thank you so much everyone for replying so quickly. Iāll certainly use some of your ideas.
Here's a great post on making new soap from old pieces.
You can make a little bag from facecloths with a drawstring. Fill it up with all the old soap pieces and use it in the shower. Empty it and wash it as needed.
