How do you take a bathroom mirror off the wall?

Hello Teresa! Some mirrors in bathroom are held in place by small brackets. Some mirrors have been glued on with a special adhesive. If you can see brackets with small screws around the edges of your mirror--it's just a matter of loosening the screws and removing the brackets from the wall. Loosen the bottom brackets last and have a strong helper to hold the mirror in place until it's loose. It should just come off the wall as there is nothing else holding it in place.

I love what Gk suggested and agree! In the past when we have removed a mirror glued to the wall, we applied duck tape all over it and popped it off the wall. We did the tape just in case the mirror broke, it wouldn't shatter into a lot of pieces. Make sure to wear gloves and protective eyewear! Best of luck!

Gk has it. Most are glued with a few blobs of mirror mastic. Tape the mirror off and gently use a stiff putty knife behind it to pry it off. You can also frame the existing mirror.

You don’ Have to remove it. Just use decorative wood molding and glue and frame the mirror itself.

We did what Yvonne suggested...frame dit while on the wall...looks finished and good.
