How can I remove the cloudiness from inside old glass jars and bottle?

Hi, I have several antique jars and bottles that are quite unusual that I would like to sell. Unfortunately, they have some clouding on the inside I have been unable to get out. I've tried denture cleaner and alka seltzer tablets, but that stuff is tuff!! Anyone have an answer to this dilemma?

Thanks,

LaVonne

I have only been able to lighten it myself. Vinegar helped and then.i scrubbed with soft scrub and a bottle brush, helped but still coudy.

many antique jar/bottle collectors like the patina to be left on/in the bottles, especially if it is rainbow effect in it too, they would know best if they wanted them cleaned, becareful not to add to the etching or they may go down in value. just advertise as is somethings really just don't need to be all shiny I think you should leave them be the antique bottles I have most are cloudy and I want them as original as possible. more like sea glass

Try filling with white vinegar and just let it sit, also use on the out side.

Hot water and a tablespoon of dishwasher detergent. Mix well before putting in the bottles. This is also great for removing coffee stains from carafes and insulated cups/bottles.
