I have a vase with some unique rocks ive found while looking for arrowheads. Is there a good plant I could get a start from that will grow in the water with rocks?

My Mother and my Aunt both used to grow philodendron that way. It did very well and would grow long. My Aunt had it vining all the way around her room. And she even put it in her fish aquarium, and it grew just fine in it. Myself, I put mother-in-law's tongue in rocks and water. You have to exchange with water and wash off roots and rocks and container from time to time. I also put miracle grow in mine occasionally, but be careful not to overdo that.

Is philodendron like a vine? I already change the water and rinse my rocks so that wouldn't be an issue.

May have to find me a piece of Mother in law tongue and try that one

      Thank you

Pothos would root and grow in water but maybe someone else has a better idea. Is your vase full of rocks, or just on the bottom?
