A few years ago I used a steam cleaner on a toilet bowl that had a lot of mineral build up. Of course I turned the water off first and flushed it a few times to empty the bowl. It took a long time (a few hours) but the bowl looks great now. Now just scrub it out every week with comet.
Hi Tammy, I use the works toilet bowl cleaner and let it set in the toilet bowl for about 15 minutes. If it is really bad you may have to do it more than once. Don't buy the one that says basic on it as it is the cheap version and will not work. I have not found a stain it will not get out.
Every time I clean my mirrors, they end up having tons of streaks and almost look worse than before I started. What could I use to clean them that won't leave streaks...

Try CLR. Works great!
