Does any of your weed solutions work without killing flowers.
You use most weed stuff before you plant. Sorry but you are going to have to pull weeds the old fashioned wAy.
Preen might have something but for the most part it's just pulling...ugh!
No matter what you use if you just spray/pour on each weed it will only kill the weed you put it on;the Diy stuff everyone posts about can't be used broad spectrum as weed spraying in a garden/lawn setting, unless it is as I said poured onto each weed and into center soaking into roots and only straight vinegar or boiling water nothing else added no salt(kills everything & soil so only around pavement/gravel) no dish soap(just doesn't need to stick to plant, save your detergents for cleaning). repeated use of vinegar will ruin soil killing microbes and changing PH. Round-Up for them actually works best but also not good for soil on long term basis and if you do not follow strict safety guidelines it can cause other health concerns. The hazard warnings have always been on the containers. You really just need to pull the weeds as they grow by hand for best results least amount of damage to anything/everything.Plus it good to be outside in your plants & dirt. Gardening is alot of work,if you pull weeds when they are young just sprouting and wet the soil they come out easily roots and all. If you stay on top of the weeds and your garden you should not need to use any type of weed killer DIY or store bought chemical,if you want a nice garden but do not want to work in it hire it out to someone else to weed/maintain that way you can enjoy the beauty without the work your flower gardens need to be maintained.s
Weeds are an on going war in the flower garden even with fabric barrier, mulch and possibly preen.
I have found the Preen products are pretty helpful. Check out reviews and the Q&A here to see if it could be used for your gardens weed eradication needs. There are different formulations to include organic.
