Mosquito Free Anywhere Outside

This year has been bad for mosquitoes because our state has had more spring rain than any recorded in the past 100 years. If you are like me, I attract them to my person and it makes time outside miserable. I cannot use repellent made to keep off mosquitoes so we had to search for several years to find an answer. Plants such as lavender, use of candles, and essential oils are limited in their effectiveness, especially with my natural magnetism for the pests. Our search brought us to a great solution to keep mosquitoes away to take with us in all our weekend retreats as well as working in our yard!

We enjoy our yard and someone said Johnson and Johnson makes a baby cream oil that will keep off the mosquitoes. It went from $20 a tube to over $50 one summer due to people buying it to keep away the mosquitoes! Yes it works, but it was almost impossible to find in stock and way too expensive. Then I happened to see a similar store brand tube of baby cream oil.

I compared the ingredients and the order of the ingredients was exactly the same as the more expensive brand. Be sure it says ALOE VERA and VITAMIN E on the tube. The J & J brand looks very similar in size and color. This was $6 a tube.

We use it liberally whenever we are outside in our yard or on a weekend trip out of doors. A little bit goes a long way. We even wipe our hands on the backs of our shoulders and around our ankles and on clothes where we see a need. It WORKS. When I am done and my hands feel covered, that is what I wipe on my clothes. It does not make them greasy or hurt them.

Now we enjoy looking at our roses and watering our fruit trees again. I have not been bitten one time using this baby cream oil with Aloe Vera and Vitamin E in it. Other store brands may work just as well. I do not know. We just happened to be in Walmart when we found this and it works.

I have the same problem with mosquitoes, I am a magnet! Thank you so much for sharing this, I just bought a tube of the Walmart version for just under $3! It arrives tomorrow and hopefully it's still the same formula, I made sure to get the one with the aloe and vitamin e. Thanks again!
