How do I upcycle this piece (pic attached)?

What can I use this huge eye sore but beauty to my eyes, once used as wall display? I had some thoughts for possibly a few different outdoor uses but cannot think of any other

The wood looks too nice to put outside. I can’t tell what is the reflective shiny edge- glass? Metal hanger strip?

I’d use it as a table top and “top it” with glass, or acrylic. One can buy all kinds of table legs at IKEA & Menards.

Or use it as a screen/partition. One could fill in the middle sections with anything from stained/frosted glass, to marbles in resin, or contrasting wood. Maybe staple fabric in there.

HI! I actually can't tell what it is or the size. Can you post more details so we can help you?

IF it's an appropriate size, you can paint, chalk paint, etc. for use indoors as you love it. Do you have a stairwell? Something that seems this large would be great in a stairwell or high on a tall wall.

Some people use similar builds for yard decor. You can find some ideas if you click on "explore projects" then "up cycle" and then "windows and doors" to find some creative ideas. I found one for you. https://www.hometalk.com/diy/build/furniture/cabinet-made-from-old-window-22504917

Thanks guys. Yeah its huge . You could probably make a huge sand box or same size as a huge pallet out door bed.
