I planted creeping phlox but they haven't bloomed yet. Does anyone know what I can do to get them to bloom?

They are spring bloomers....when did you plant them? May have to wait till next spring. We had some in another house and I loved seeing them in the spring.

I had a great display of my creeping phlox in spring, but after trimming off the dead flowers, two of the plants just seemed to look dead. I have been watering them, but no real recovery yet. Are they finished?

It blooms only once, in late April or early May. if you want year round color might want to use Sweet Alyssum...Sweet alyssum, which reaches 6 to 8 inches tall, is grown as an annual in most parts of the United States. While it often reseeds in USDA zones 8 and 9, it is perennial only in USDA zones 10 and 11.The individual flowers of sweet alyssum are tiny, no larger than 1/8 inch, and they grow in rounded clusters atop upright stems. They have a sweet fragrance. The most common flower color is white, although alyssum also comes in pink, purple, lavender and pale yellow. Both sweet alyssum and creeping phlox grow in full sun to part shade. They are not fussy about soil type but flourish best in well-drained soil with regular water. Both plants benefit from shearing after blooms have faded, which will result in a new crop of flowers for alyssum and fresh, green growth for creeping phlox. you can mix them too.

I'm in upstate NY, but the bloom for me very early spring. Maybe you planted after they already bloomed.
