Old windows are harder to come by than cork sheets, usually. So I had rather you at least tape a border on the cork, and wedge it into the window, so that you can use the window for different projects throughout the years. Even glued in, the cork will work better if it has a backing. If it’s too late for that, run stripes of ribbon across the window and use the ribbon as a second layer into which you attach straight or safety pins, racks, staples, gym clips, hair clips, or other decorative clips. Your window would be a great place to display current greeting cards, family photos, recipes, or cartoons. You may come up with even better uses for such a creative project. Best wishes! Jewell

Love that idea! I upcycle windows all of the time but have not turned one into a cork board yet. I may just have to try that!

  • Hi, Margaret!

That sounds like a really great project!
