How do I make a shelving unit to put into a window?

I would like to display a collection of coffee cups in a kitchen window. How would I make a set of shelves to highlight about 30 cups of various sizes?

Hi there, here is a tutorial about like how I would have done it too. A small board on each side inside the window frame to support each shelf would be the simplest way to go. This tutorial used acrylic but you could certainly use wood as well: http://www.designsponge.com/2016/05/floating-window-shelves.html
What is your kitchen set up? Can you share a photo? If you have cabinets on either side, you can use them to hold brackets to install the shelves. If not, you will need to build into the wall.
