Add 2 tbsp. of dishwashing liquid to 1 gallon of water.
Mix together thoroughly.
Pour the dishwashing solution into a garden sprayer.
Find a good solid stick that is long enough to reach the bag.
Puncture the side of the bagworm bag with the pointy end of the stick.
Spray the mix into and onto the bag.
If you can remove the branches with the bag worms, cut them off and either burn them or put them into a plastic bag and spray them in there. Tie tightly and dispose of in the trash.
We got rid of bagworms simply by pulling the off and putting in a plastic zip lock bag-to the trash they go. Helped immensely, not many back the next year.
