I have a very old cast iron planter, but it doesn't have drainage holes, so the water just pools up. Is there any way to drill holes into it without damaging it?
I thoughrly soak them with raw linseed oil and use a good weed mat to line after the oil has soaked it. Makes them last a few years if you redo oil once a year.
