Are you not using them? If they are in use I don't think I would do that unless you made a box that stuck out for the hoses. If they are not in use you could cover with a piece of dry wall, tape and paint.

You can make a box that is open in the back and on the bottom. Decorate the front and hang like a piece of artwork. The hoses will come out of the bottom.

I would cover it with a box also, but to make it look nicer, why not creat a shelf, that box "sits" on, and you can use rest of shelf to place other boxes of soap detergent or jars holding soap or found buttons, change. Liimited only by your imagination. Good luck!

I have a shelf just above my washer valves. Brackets are screwed to the wall away from the water lines. Once the shelf was installed the washer and dryer were pushed back into place. It's hard to see the valves but not hard to access if necessary as the shelf was placed just above the top of the control panels of the machines.

Put a curtain rod with a 3 to 4 inch side return ( so it protrudes over the lines) and hang a curtain or fabric. This will also give you easy access to the lines.

We installed a board shelf above then I tacked on a piece of fabric with enough overhang to conceal hoses but still have instant access.
