How can I remove tape residue from my refrigerator without ruining it?

I taped some papers to my stainless steel refrigerator and when I removed the tape it left reside. I cant seem to get it to come off. Any ideas that won’t ruin the finish? Thanks!

Have you tried Goo Gone? I love that stuff! It takes off anything sticky. If you are worried about the finish, you could try a little q-tip dap on the inside of the door or another inconspicuous area. Good luck!
Goo Gone or WD40 or vegetable oil.
I frequently use spray on cooking oil and a round plastic scrubby to remove tape adhesive off lots of surfaces. I would try that in an spot to see how the frig reacts to it.
