Miss Muffet's Revenge spray or diatomaceous earth sprinkled all around. It's still effective if it gets wet, as long as it doesn't wash away.

My friend used to come over with a large garden sprayer with a vinegar solution to spray around the house to relocate them to the outer parts of the yard, we get big 50 cent size garden spiders..... I hate spiders.
They don't like the scent of Peppermint!
